Restoration: A Bringing Nature Home Guide
This presentation explores the vital role of backyard biodiversity and habitat restoration in supporting
Maine’s native ecosystems. It highlights the core principles of Bringing Nature Home, emphasizing the
importance of native plants, ecological gardening, and sustainable landscape management. Attendees
will leave with actionable steps to enhance their landscapes for biodiversity, contributing to a healthier
environment for both people and wildlife.

2:00 Raffle drawing and self-guided tour of the Maine Maritime Museum
Cost: $30 for GCFM Club Members registering on or before April 18 th
$35 for Guests and late registrations

We will be providing a buffet lunch. Please let us know it there are dietary needs.

after the April 18 th deadline, please send names on a sperate form along with a second check to
Jackie Berry.

Elephant Sale table will be open throughout the meeting. Funds realized support District projects.
