Home and Garden Tour 2025

Home and Garden Tour 2025
July 18, 2025 9:00am – 4:00pm

Every other year, in the summer season, the Boothbay Region Garden Club (BRGC) offers our community an enjoyable opportunity to tour Boothbay peninsula homes and gardens that showcase the creative ways that homeowners are meeting the unique gardening challenges of our rugged coastal environment.
The committee works with homeowners to preview and select homes and gardens to be included in this tour. In addition, BRGC members serve as ‘hostesses’, parking monitors and bus organizers, and provide flower arrangements for each of the homes.

On July 18, 2025, the Boothbay Region Garden Club hosted its Home and Garden Tour at Ocean Point, and it was truly a glorious summer day. Guests enjoyed a delightful walking tour through six of Ocean Point’s most charming cottages, each showcasing unique style and character. They were also able to see beautiful Wilson Chapel. The gardens were in full bloom, offering a vibrant display of color and texture, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the ocean. It was a rare opportunity to step inside these special homes and stroll through their gardens while taking in the coastal beauty that makes Ocean Point so beloved.

In addition to the home and garden tours, the day was filled with music and art. The Casino, Ocean Point’s historic clubhouse, served as the hub of activity. Inside, visitors browsed local arts and crafts displays, discovering handmade treasures that celebrated the talent of our community. The atmosphere was further enriched by live music, with performances featuring the cello, electric piano, and flute creating a beautiful soundtrack for the day. From the blooming gardens to the ocean views, from the artistry to the music, it was a day that perfectly captured the beauty of Ocean Point and the joy of gathering as a community to celebrate nature, creativity and friendship.
