OUR MISSION: To promote interest in the art and practice of gardening, horticultural education and the beautification of the Boothbay Region.

We serve the Boothbay peninsula and the surrounding area through gardening projects, programs, education and scholarships—fostering deep friendships through working together to make a difference in our environment.

The Boothbay Region Garden Club supports the community in many ways. The following are highlights of our collaborative work:

Why Join Our Club?

MEET OTHER GARDENERS

Gardeners are everywhere in Maine…men and women of all ages join clubs! Attend educational meetings, work on community projects, attend Garden Club events and field trips, find fellowship and learn from people with common interests!

VISIT PRIVATE & PUBLIC GARDENS

When you join a local club, you will have opportunities to visit public gardens, greenhouses and nurseries, and many amazing private gardens in Maine to get ideas for your own garden spaces.

GARDENING EDUCATION

Garden clubs are the place to go to learn about plants, garden design, flower arranging and more! Experienced members and professionals are eager to share their knowledge through programs, workshops, and courses.

GARDENING EVENTS

The BRGC and other nearby clubs host events throughout the year featuring lectures, demonstrations, hands-on activities, food and fun! From native plants and conservation to ornamentals and vegetables, there is something for everyone!

Joining a garden club connects gardeners with gardeners. When you join a club that is part of the Garden Club Federation of Maine (GCFM), you are automatically part of a huge network of gardeners…GCFM, New England Garden Clubs, and National Garden Clubs. Every level offers opportunities!

We welcome new members!  Anyone who is interested in gardening is invited to join the Club. For information, please email gboothbayregion@gmail.com.
